Since 2001, Christ Church Christiana Hundred has been committed our mission in Jalonga, Dominican Republic, in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese. This mission, deeply rooted in our Episcopal faith, emphasizes God's teachings, the importance of education, and the nourishment of both body and spirit. The youth trips to Jalonga are an extension of this commitment, offering a unique opportunity for young people to grow in faith and service.

In June 2025, a group of young enthusiastic individuals from Christ Church Christiana Hundred embarked on a mission trip that proved to be both transformative and enlightening. This journey was not just about exploring new places; it was a leap into community service, cultural exchange, and personal growth.

A sense of community

We embarked on various initiatives, including the construction of new fencing around the play areas, offices, classrooms, and other key facilities within the project. Our efforts in building and enhancing community structures were not just about physical labor but also about creating safer and more welcoming spaces for everyone.
